Little Parks started with a gift. My first daughter was given a play tent for Christmas and she loved it. However, it was a cheap one with a nylon cover and plastic poles. Needless to say it was only a week before the poles were bent and it wouldn't sit up properly anymore. And, to be honest, it wasn't the most attractive thing to have sitting around.

That's when the idea came to me. If I could make a strong and beautiful tent for her to play in, not only would it stand the test of time, it would also be something that I would actually want to display in my home. So, with the help of a carpenter, I designed my first tent. And, after two years (yes two years!) it was still standing and sitting proudly in the play room. Not only had it stood the test of time, but people wanted to know if they could have one too. And that's how Little Parks was born.

I now have two beautiful daughters who still play in the first tent I ever made. I love watching them play in it, and I absolutely love making the tents. I hope your children have as much fun in their tent as mine do in theirs.
